“New Thing” - A Song For Your New Season
“New Thing” was birthed out of a songwriting session between Grammy Award-winning songwriter Mitch Wong as well as the Heart of God Church Worship Team’s Daniel Goh and Aaron Cheong.
Shortly after the song was written, Pastor How and Pastor Lia cast the vision for the year: a declaration of a new season and a year of breakthroughs. It became clear that this song was the anthem for that very vision, anchored by Isaiah 43:19 (NIV): “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
